Oh, I can’t stand it anymore. I can’t stand these extremely frosty mornings and nights. Sometimes I can tell something like this but very seldom. In most cases I’m rather satisfied with my opportunity to live here. If you are attentive you can notice that I’ve just mentioned low temperatures. As it follows from this I’ve got an opportunity to live somewhere in the north. But in fact you are wrong with your conclusion. The matter is that I live in Antarctica. It’s located in the South Pole. So it can be considered to be the northern area. You may call me Bill. I’ve firmly stuck to this severe ground. And I can’t imagine my life without this land. I deal with some scientific researches here. I’m a scientist. My duty is to explore this unique mysterious land. I’ve got many things to do. I’ve been studying the local flora and fauna since getting my last degree in biology. I admire my specialty. Though I have an opportunity to deal not only with biology but I’m deeply involved into other kinds of scientific researches. For example I also practice geological and meteorological studies. There are a lot of interesting things to explore here. Have you ever seen penguins walking slowly together? They are really the funniest creatures ever made by nature. It’s a real amusement to observe them. Each of their movements can seem to be awkward and funny. But in fact they are similar to humans to a certain degree. When walking they have an accurate resemblance of gentlemen rushing to the theatre accompanied by their ladies. Sometimes I think that they are real humans but covered entirely with feathers. I’m used to feeding them with fresh fish. Penguins like me very much. They don’t mind my constant presence. They usually allow me to measure them.

I live in a hut carved in the thick ice. But the whole internal surfaces are covered with wood logs. These wood logs strengthen the whole structure of my home. There’s enough space inside of it. So I’m satisfies with my home. Of course it’s impossible to be hot there. I’ve got accustomed to the local frosty weather. But anyway I have to keep the warmth inside of my house. So I need to use the best fuel with high combustion efficiency for this purpose. I’ve just skipped many variants until the last one. I’ve decided to use wood pellets for heating my home. They suit me due to their high combustion efficiency. I appreciate this quality most of all. I’ve got about 10 tons of wood pellets. That’s enough to meet the end of my year here. Soon the helicopter will bring me more wood pellets. I invite you to this land.
