My home is eco – friendly.

Saving our planet is becoming our main concern currently. For example in the previous centuries it was quite possible to ignore numerous problems of our native environment. In fact these problems weren’t considered to be actual enough to get down to solving them immediately. May be people at that time weren’t so concerned with the main problems of our nature because of their ignorance. In fact there was no need to be concerned with this at that time. The matter was that our human industries weren’t developed enough to be harmful enough for our environment.

Sometimes I often think about those centuries. These centuries were completely free of factory smoke and other dirty remnants of our industrial civilization. Off course I’m not going to mean the 20th century. This century isn’t to my liking at all. Sometimes I think that this 20th century can be considered to be the worst century in the whole history of our mankind. Have a look at this century attentively. It was full of bloody wars with myriads of innocent victims, devastations and numerous destructions. To my great regret this century is famous for the first nuclear strike in Hiroshima. Unfortunately exactly in this century humans invented the most terrible weapon in the whole history of our mankind. I have already mentioned above Hiroshima. I mean nuclear weapons. It’s something horrible. And until now this scaring stuff keeps on threatening the whole world with its enormous devastating effects such as giant blast waves, radioactive contamination, electromagnetic emission and other horrible things. To say honestly I constantly live in the fear of a nuclear war. I’m afraid that some crazy general is able to press that red button of the nuclear missile launch. And the whole world is going to disappear.

To compare with that 20th century other centuries before seem to be sweet babies for me. Off course they were also full off wars and various disasters. But in general they didn’t have such a killing potential for the whole mankind and our native planet. But in fact you shouldn’t take my words mentioned above for granted. The matter is that these words aren’t so pleasant to listen. I’ve just forgotten that there are certain positive changes occurring currently. I mean those changes closely connected with alternative sources of energy. Humans are trying to replace conventional sources of energy with alternative ones.

I also try to do my best to get alternative sources of energy for my house. For example I’ve already installed a wood pellet stove. Now I’m not going to worry about heating in winter because thus device can present me its warmth for a quite reasonable price. From this moment bills on heating won’t be so biting as before.

It is really amazing how gifted humans are when the time comes to be more self sufficient about energy. The energy crisis that is promised to ahead pushed many people to inventing new ways of taking care of energy issues. One of them - wood pellets which are really effective and ecologically smart.
