Worried about the installation of your flat screen TV? It’s nothing to worry, if you read this article. For wall mounting of your TV, the first thing you need is TV wall mount brackets.

There are three types of wall mounting of your flat screen TV which essentially depend upon the three types of wall mount brackets. The low low-profile, tilting and full-motion are the three types of wall mount available in the market. And They come with their own benefits and drawbacks. Let’s look at the different Flat Screen TV Wall Mounts

Low-Profile Installation of Flat TV

Mounting a flat TV using a low-profile bracket is the most convenient option than other two available options and is the lowest-cost option too. The low-profile bracket makes your installation so easy as if you are hanging a painting on the wall While this is the simplest to install, it has a limitation that you cannot tilt the TV from its position once it is installed. This is a disadvantage that makes it difficult to change cables of your TV. It’s being a flat TV and mounted on a flat wall, it’s not possible to change cables without displacing the TV from the wall.

Tilting Installation of Flat TV

These brackets cost a little more compared to low-profile wall mounts, but lower in cost as compared to the full-motion wall mounting brackets. Normally, the installation of tilting wall mounts is not that complex and is quite similar to a low-profile mount. The only advantage that you get with a tilting mount is that it gives you freedom to adjust the vertical angle of viewing. In the middle of the tilting mount brackets, there always exists a pivot. This pivot helps to maintain a great viewing angle as per the convenience of the viewer. It’s not so difficult to change cables in a tilting mount, which is virtually impossible in case of a low-profile mount.

Full-Motion TV Wall Mount

Full-motion wall mounts give your wall-mounted TV a full motion and of course a higher cost is associated with it. They are the costliest of all types of wall mounts. Installation of a full-motion mount involves a great degree of complexity. The moving piece or arms coming with this type of mount make it rather complex to install. While installing this type of mount, one needs at least 2-3 extra men who will help you in hanging your TV on the wall using a full-motion mount.
